Pipeline Repair
Pipeline repair capabilities include certified clockspring installation and other types of composite material repairs, placement of welded sleeves and pipe replacement/fabrication.
Mears, as part of Quanta Pipeline Services, has full construction and repair services including employees and equipment. Mears can do projects either union or non-union. Mears employees are fully trained at the Mears training facility in Michigan in pipe repair methods and safe excavation before working on any projects and are all OQ certified for the appropriate tasks. Mears Repair capabilities are focused on pipeline integrity issues including pipeline recoat, ILI digs and repairs, valve replacement, dent repair, casing evaluation and repair, building launchers and receivers, and cathodic protection upgrades including linear anodes –Anodeflex.
