Mears Direct Examination (DE) Technicians perform Inspection and Nondestructive Testing on excavated piping systems. The inspection component includes the characterization and mapping of coating anomalies and general pipe surface corrosion losses. The non-destructive testing methods aid in exposing and characterizing both external and internal pipe anomalies. Inspection and test results are reported on client specific or Mears developed datasheets.
