AnodeFlex Installation
Mears Group is the only approved installer in the U.S. of this continuous linear anode. Since the late 1980’s, we have designed and installed several million feet of AnodeFlex. The closely-coupled configuration of the long-line continuous cathodic protection groundbed provides efficient current distribution that greatly reduces attenuation effects associated with conventional groundbeds and/or non-homogeneous soils, making this approach a cost-effective alternative to pipeline recoating for bare or poorly coated pipelines or for pipelines in high resistivity soils. Our patented plowing equipment can install all types of linear anodes including zinc ribbon.
