Community Involvement
For more than ten years Mears Group has been actively involved and generously supported the American Cancer Society (ACS) Relay for Life. We started out with team participation for the annual event; to working on the committee; and, then having one of our employees designated as the chairperson for three years. This event is a twenty-four hour relay where a team pledges money and has a team member on the track walking during the 24-hour period. The ACS has recognized Mears on different occasions for their consistent support.
